Google and Latitud have announced an unprecedented and long-term partnership to double down on supporting startup founders in Latin America building the next generation of global tech companies.

Latitud will become part of Google for Startups' partner network, with over 70 organizations spread across 60 countries dedicated to supporting startups. Google for Startups will bring the best of Google’s people, programs, and products to the Latitud community.

Google for Startups' mission is to support diverse and inclusive startup communities around the globe by connecting founders to the resources and networks needed to grow and scale their businesses. At Latitud, entrepreneurs from all corners of Latin America find a safe harbor to bring their business ideas to fruition, build a support network, and learn from global thought leaders how to maximize their chances of success.

Latitud is building the infrastructure to support the next generation of Latin American startups. Their best-known solutions and programs are Latitud Formation, a company formation product helping founders set up to receive venture capital investment; Latitud Community, educational and networking programs for founders (Latitud Community) and angel investors (Angel Fellowship); Latitud Ventures, a venture capital fund that has invested in over 100 startups; and Latitud Finance, a business account aimed at early-stage LatAm startups with international corporate structures.

Connection, education, and resources for the Latitud community

As a first step, Google will be sharing public resources on topics such as startup founder development, OKR methodologies, growth, and machine learning. These materials will be available across several Latitud content channels.

Latitud fellows and members of its community, on the other hand, will have exclusive access to Google perks when it comes to connection, education, and resources.

The first step is access to the global startup ecosystem leaders network and to Google's specialist and mentor community.

Google mentors will provide exclusive training on product leadership as part of Latitud's program curriculum, both virtually and in person. These professionals have expertise in over 20 topics, such as cloud computing, artificial intelligence, machine learning, marketing, and user experience.

Last but not least, members of the Latitud community will also have access to up to US$ 200k in credits to use Google products such as Google Cloud's storage services. The credits are accompanied by technical training and dedicated support.

These initiatives offer fundamental expertise and financial support to help early-stage startups scale their operations.
