Latitud SF Fellowship: from idea to startup with $62.5K, and in 2 months

Here's all about our program for pre-founders born in Latin America, figuring out their big move for the next decade.

If you're one of those people who just know they’re meant to build something huge, but haven’t quite nailed down the “what”...

At Latitud, we back people like you.
And we call them pre-founders.

You’re not putting “aspiring founder” in your bio and leaving it at that. You’re already in. You’re wired to build, sell, and make something that’s real, big, and unique.

But you’re still trying to figure stuff out. You haven’t landed on the right idea yet, or maybe you haven’t found the time or environment to take the leap.

That’s where we come in.

We’re selecting 8 exceptional pre-founders born in LatAm for the next cohort of the Latitud SF Fellowship: our program for the ones figuring out their big move for the next decade.

If you’re already familiar with our fellowship, and only wanna know what’s new:

A $62.5K investment.

We’re putting our money where our mouth is.
More specifically, a $62.5k check for 2.5% ownership.

We’re not here to play it safe. We’ve more than doubled the investment per founder compared to our last cohort.

That’s how bullish we are on the people we’re bringing in, and what our program can offer them. We’re here to help launch generational companies from the ground up.

Now, if you wanna know it all:

What happens in the fellowship?

Over two months, we’ll take you from minus one (yeah less than zero) to something that's actually real.

🧠 Month 1: Ideation

This is where the magic starts.
You’ll leave with a clear, developed thesis (for now).

Meet Latitud and your peers, align expectations and commitments, and go through workshops, sprints, 1:1s, and chats with potential users.

All to explore (and pressure-test) your ideas.

🛠 Month 2: Build

You’ll leave with an MVP, including first users and iteration cycles cleared.

Time to prototype, ship fast, and get early validation. You’ll go through hackathons and feedback from both peers, mentors, and actual customers. You’ll also probably iterate after every weekly demo and dinner.

All to push something real into the world.

🌉 Final Week: IRL in San Francisco

We wrap up that second month by flying the entire cohort into a house in SF for an intense, unforgettable week. Meet and actually chat with top investors, founders, and operators connecting the dots between LatAm and SF.

You’ll leave with plenty of collisions at escape velocity, ones that lead to lifelong allies. You’ll be ready and excited to take the startup world by storm.

Who is this for?

You already know the basics: we’re seeking pre-founders (in the blank document stage, excited about the questions, wanting to start something).

Inside pre-founders, two profiles stand out to us:

  • Builders, hackers (engineers, product wizards, tinkerers)
  • Sellers, dealmakers (hustlers, storytellers, market whisperers)

But no matter the profiles, some characteristics are non-negotiables:

  • See what others can’t, problem obsession (visionaries who spot white space before it’s obvious, a deep insight into a real problem worth solving)
  • Ambition (your goal is building the next decade-defining company)
  • Get sh*t done attitude (you can get things off the ground fast
  • Always be closing (you can reach customers and seal deals)
  • Full-time commitment (you’re all in to the fullest, with our check to cover ramen, rent, and runway)
  • Based in São Paulo, Mexico City, Buenos Aires, or San Francisco (pick one city as activities will be hybrid; no fully remote participation allowed)

Some extra tea: we’re especially focused on people building with AI at the core, targeting the biggest markets in the Americas: Brazil, Mexico, and the US.

What to expect from the application process

The process is fast, lightweight, and personal.
Here’s how it works:

  1. Application form

Tell us who you are, what drives you, and why this moment matters. No pitch deck. No fluff. Just your raw ambition.
  1. 30-Minute interview

You’ll meet 2 people from the Latitud team. We’ll talk about what excites you, your thinking process, and your builder energy.

And that’s it. Just signal. No noise, no gatekeeping, no long draggy process.
