This program is equity-free
Explore is an equity-free fellowship filled with world-class knowledge, amazing entrepreneurs, networking spaces, and all types of opportunities for founders that are somewhere between the Ideation stage and PMF. We're not an accelerator, but rather a community with a program.
We expect you to dedicate around 5-7 hours weekly to take full advantage of live sessions, mentor office hours, and other spaces where you can connect with the community sync or async. Since the very first cohort, we've continuously heard from fellows that the more you put in, the more you get back.
Sessions usually last around 1 hour (occasionally a bit more) and happen once a day, between 1pm and 7pm BRT. Mentor office hours take place weekly, also for 1 hour, with high-caliber startup operators and founders. Once accepted into a cohort, you'll have access to the calendar a few days in advance, so you can plan ahead.
Here are the dates for the 10th cohort (LF10) of Latitud Explore:
– Applications close on February 24th
– Email updates are sent by March 3rd
– Interviews finish by March 10th
– Cohort invitations are sent on March 17th
– The program starts on May 1st
First: Apply as soon as applications open. We screen them as they come, and with the number of brilliant founders we encounter in the process, spots fill up quickly.
Second: Describe your business as if you were explaining it to a 5-year-old. We like to think we're smarter than that, but this guarantees that anyone can understand your vision.
Third: Highlight your biggest achievements, results, and learnings during your career and founder journey.
And finally: Make sure you clearly answer all prompt questions we ask for in the video, sticking with the time limit of 3 minutes total. Try to use 1-2 minute per question.
The Latitud team spends a good amount of time screening applications and selecting those who will move on to the online interview stage.
If that's you, you will get an email invitation to schedule a quick chat with us. If not, you will still receive an update via email. Please note we are unable to provide feedback at this stage of the selection process.
We select founders, not startups, so each co-founder will have to apply separately.
No need to panic! Whether you move on to the interview stage or not, you'll get an update from us no later than March 3rd.
